now that we have a date scheduled to
“pick up our newborn,”
{which, by the way, is a little weird to me….
feels like we are going to germany to pick up our new bmw…}
we decided to make the most of our last day off…
we busted out a few ebelskivers,
using our new duds we got for christmas…
yumtown.
after we had lunch and went to the driving range,
{ya know, stuff dad wont be able to do for a while…}
and after watching too much TLC {lots of cake boss}
we were inspired and wanted to make cupcakes…
so, in honor of Boston,
we made some “creme pies” of our own
basically, cc wanted to see if we could recreate the jello cake i made last week,
using a strawberry puree instead…
it sort of worked, but they were still yum.
thanks for another fun weekend.
and just think,
in 6 short days,
we will have a little boy to keep us busy on days off!
