it’s taken me something like 20 years of online shopping to realize this, and it’s a simple thing, but it is something i’m passionate about…all the colors of jeans

a great pair of jeans can be hard to find. i hate jean shopping just like the next not-so-perfect-body-type human, but recently, i kind of enjoy it.

why? cause i found a style i like, and i only buy that kind!

what’s great about this, is my jeans still look different in various colors, and i have them in 2 sizes too, so one is a more fitted, edgier look, and the larger size is more casual. all 6 or so pairs i have in this exact style fit close the same though. so now, knowing i will get what i need from my jeans, i just stalk the emails and wait until they go on sale and bam! a new pair of jeans. often the manufacturers will use a slightly different fiber blend across colors. so my black pair of these are a size smaller, but have more stretch. the cut is the same, so the fit is similar, but the look is different…

in high school my favorite jeans were from express. i loved the curvy fit of this one style they had. they were $50 which was expensivebutworthit.com for me then. i bought 2-3 pairs a year at most and they lasted forever. that’s what we do for husband too. he is high maintenance about few things, but jeans are one. his are more like $100-130 from Buckle. hey, you love what you love.

now my fave are from old navy actually which is cheaper, but fits me better and lasts. the rock star jeans are great for mamas with a little more booty like me. i feel slimmer and great in them, so i keep buying them. i accidentally purchased a size smaller in december and kept them because i LOVE how they fit almost more than the larger size. for the win!

don’t reinvent the wheel. buy em all up and don’t waste time trying on jeans and being depressed. no one has time for that. you are too busy being a rock star
