i have to admit, this might be one of my favorite things about living in california.
especially here in the central coast, farmers markets are especially choice,
being that we are in the middle of farmland.
it makes me giddy beyond words to roll up with my babe and my reusable shopping bag to fill it with all kinds of colorful beauties and to try fruit n veggies right out of the hands of the families who grow it {in some cases}
some farmer just handed us bitter melon cause we asked what they were.
i am {almost} excited to try and make something yummy out of those random things.
{suggestions?}
these carrots are an even bigger hit with B.
they are sweeter and yummier,
and maybe he knows they are good for him since he watched me buy em.
{um… or not.}
but its something i will miss
{cause i know it couldn’t possibly get better than this!}
i love that this is the way the world is turning.
more are looking for the organic, whole food,
saving money, being green, and living healthier.
its so hot right now.
the day i have a house. i will have a garden.
until then, i will be here.
soaking up the sun where the good stuff grows.
