one of my favorite parts about living in san diego,
is that, well…. it’s san diego.

people like coming here.

which means, i get to see old friends lots.

this last week and this next month are going to be packed with visitors cause
now that school is out,  it’s what we do.

this is my cute friend from my college days.
elizabeth lived downstairs in my building,
and is one of the cutest most creative girls i know.
check her blog for inspiration. she throws the best parties…

since i have a pass to the zoo that lets me bring a guest in free,
i figured that would be the perfect place to catch up while keeping our two little dudes occupado.

and we would be right.

then,
as luck would have it,
i was able to meet up with this cute girlfriend from my DC/student teaching days.
one of my favorite roommates slash hilarious friends.
she and i share a slight obsession with good entertainment,
so i would be lying if i said we didn’t spend half of our time together talking about the shows we watch, and the oscars…etc. it’s what we do.
brit just finished her masters degree and will be teaching soon.
which kind of rocks.

we met for lunch and B flirted with her thee entire time.
it was too fun.

and if that wasn’t enough,
my cute friend from Santa Maria
{who later moved here, and then left before we were able to see them}
was back in town for a while.

don’t mind how cute i am here…. good thing allison looks great!

one of her little girls, lost her first tooth at my house!

{and by lost i mean, i pulled it out for her when she wasn’t expecting it…}

rylee was hilarious. she wouldn’t let mom pull it, then asked for an apple.
with mom at the camera, i walked over to her with a napkin to “see” and twisted it out,
just like i did all of my baby sister’s baby teeth.

{then apologized profusely for potentially stealing a milestone moment…
oh well, at least she got it on camera that way!}

what a fun night with them. i can’t believe how fast kids get so old and so big.

i guess what i’m saying is, i love old friends!
if you come here, i hope you come see me.
warning: i might force you to come to the zoo with me,
or pull out your teeth…
