since i have been at a family reunion all week,
and with more family again all day today,
i’m just getting to uploading some 1200 photos from my camera….
this week’s theme for foto friday is electric.
so i wanted to try my hand at shooting fireworks.
it’s tough.
i found i had to manually focus,
and keep the shutter and aperture low
to be sure that only the bright pops show….
most of these were shot at 1/60 or 1/80 and about f/5.3
with the iso kicked up to 6400
this one with a kid’s silhouette was one of my faves…

Very impressive, I was cursing myself and my camera this fourth just trying to get ONE good picture! What camera/lens were you using?
