last weekend i went to a super cute
favorite things party
one of the best ideas for a girls night out,
and when done by my friend lela,
good things always happen….
she is a
oh-i-just-threw-that-banner-thing-together-today-during-nap-time-with-what-i-had
type of girl.
i am dreaming that stuff up for a week before!
and her appetizers were divine.
goat cheese, basil, strawberries, and balsalmic.
yes.
red velvet cupcakes, and red velvet cookies.
get this: those cookies are sugar cookies with red velvet “extract/flavoring” in them-
genius!
and my loot…
how it works: everyone brings 3 small-ish things {generally under $10 a piece}
and we write our names down on 3 slips of paper…
each girl explains her “thing” then draws 3 names for who gets them.
i learned a lot about all the cleaning supplies i need,
some fun new products,
and went home with some fun stuff.
my girlfriend, liz, has been raving about this sugar cookie tea for weeks
{it’s seasonal, so she ordered it}
she froths warm almond milk to make it latte-esque,
and it’s sooo good… and about 40 cals.
what a fun party.
i have that on my schedule to do again very soon!
This sounds like so much fun. It's my goal to do one of these this year with some friends. The food looks delicious!
