so i am so late, it’s disgusting.

the theme for foto friday was “treasure.”  and i didn’t even have access to my camera most of the week, nor did i have even 3 minutes to rub together until this very minute {late late sunday night}  i know, excuses excuses… bob harper is rolling his eyes at me right now…

and technically, i didn’t get to take any fotos of the event,
{other than from my darlingly clad iphone},
so these are from my girlfriend’s canon 5D.

all tuesday and into the night {times wednesday and then thursday}
my friend miki and i, were working on a little find….

it was junk to someone. free wood.
we were giddy at the find. our little treasure.

it lived a long life.  just a cute pallet of weathered wood….

little did it know it would be so loved on.

while i was out of town, she tracked it down and brought it home,
and between her painting skills, and my handy man’s power tools, it turned into something lots cooler than the plain pallet it once was.

the San Diego event for Sassy City Chicks went great!  i was a little intimidated when i first arrived and watched all these ladies file in with their droves of merchandise and me with my planks of wood…

the other half of the pallet was our display.
i loved the vintageness of it.

it was a ball.  900+ shoppers came through and checked out Vintage Printage and, i will be honest, it was good for my ego.  lots of the chicks there are buyers so they resell local designer stuff, it was fun to be the only etsy/design/business there.

the men came later in the evening and stayed till the end because the 4 of us were having so much fun pretending to be salesmen.  couldn’t do anything without my cutest helpers last week.  they rocked my socks… more on them soon.

you may see us at the event in LA in april cause we loved it that much.

Go check out the foto ladies who actually did the assignment this week.
i promise i will be back on friday!
