a father’s blessing

baby elle
was blessed on sunday.

as her sweet dad blessed her to know God,
to love Him and to find love and happiness,
as he told her she would one day meet a companion who would cherish her…

i thought of another sweet dad
that must have said those same words
and hoped his first daughter would do the same.

i know God loves me.
my sweet family is proof of that.
