this weekend we had baby sister shelby and her man nate here to take some photos
cause they’re getting MARRIED!
we kind of giggled behind their backs about how cute and young they are all weekend.
we are so excited for them, and so happy we had a few minutes to get to know the new bro-in-law a bit better before he becomes one.
we approve.
{as if that matters, right?}
cc was kind of nervous that he was going to come to his baby sister’s wedding,
and shake this kid’s hand for the first time, right before they tied that knot….
cc decided long before they came, that the day was to be spent at the beach.
we hadn’t been yet this year, and it’s finally warming up around here enough to go…
so, after we let the cute couple get all done up,
we took them out to get all wind-blown,
and let my boys get the much-needed vitamin D.
while they played, we were over and under snapping some love…
{we did more “studio” shots too, more to come later}
they are one of those great looking couples,
hard to get a bad side, really.
we stayed most of the day, and soaked it in.
it was perfect.
warm, cool breeze, not too many people, but just enough to keep it fun.
our beach was the ragnar race checkpoint, so there were lots of runners in and out all day.
it’s always fun to be where the party’s at.
i was just so happy to have our first beach day of the season with family,
and to actually have the real camera there to catch it.
doesn’t everyone just wish they had a paparazzi around
to catch life on days like this….sigh.
I'm gonna be so bummed if that was our checkpoint, where we never actually went down to the beach. (At least Ragnar got you some free parking, right?)
I can't believe Nathan is old enough to get married…I remember when he was in primary. (Or at least deacons!) Crazy stuff!
Your pictures really make me want to move somewhere warm, preferably with a beach. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Great shots Meg!!! They are such a cute couple and lucky that you were able to capture this awesome pics at the beach! Ahh. I can't wait till I can go to the beach… jealous! We don't really have beaches here in Texas {at least that are worthy of being called a beach} Can't wait for Hawaii at the end of May!!! 🙂 Fun post! :)

krista @ joyfulhealthyeats
