just for cute little people and their cute little style.
it’s always fun to see so many cute kids and where they get all the cute clothes they wear…
and while i also have a tiny girl that has me breaking the bank in the clothing department,
i have to admit that it’s been pretty fun to dress my little man too.
there’s something about making him look like a little teenage heartbreaker
that kills me every. time.
this little outfit was for our family photoshoot over christmas and we needed it in a huge hurry.
we were going for “fall colors”, and as the photographer, i always want bright,
multiple colors, not matchy-matchy, but cohesive.
i told the family to think mostly “reds and yellows”
and most of the families went with one or the other, which worked great.
for our little family, B here took red, little reese had mustard on,
and dad wore a little orange and brown.
i went neutral with a cream top, brown boots, and a pencil skirt.
it’s my fave family photo so far and i know planning the outfits is a HUGE part of that!
it worked out perfect.
my favorite part?
i snagged it all on amazon and old navy
so it came within a week!
yes, that cute preppy cardi with a B on it came from amazon of all places!
it was 11 bucks and i can’t find it again sadly,
but cute things like this always pop up and ship so fast!
the red skinnies and the gray high tops are from old navy and also came right away.
the perfect outfit for a family shoot on a cold day.
