you know how everyone says “if i could redo my wedding…”
here’s 2 truths:
1} i wouldn’t change a single thing about how i did my wedding.
2} if i did it again today, with how my “style” has evolved, this nailed it.
teal, burlap, diet coke, and BBQ…
it was outside, on a perfect day in orange county,
and on a gorgeous ranch surrounded by trees.
the bride was stunning,
and her husband, {my cousin}, was beaming.
the details were perfect.
we helped set up all day and i was writhing in pain to hurry back with my camera.
the mason jars? with chalk?!
i could die.
my only real help was in designing the tags on the cookies on each plate.
{being that they came from my mother’s home kitchen biz}
and some of my favorite men…
cc, and my brother
her bridesmaids all tiny, tan, and rockin those teal dresses with nude pumps,
little dude jasper who bore those rings well and stole hearts
with his angelina lips.
stunning bride.
i love some of the candids we caught of her.
and, i didn’t catch them, but she was rocking teal lace pumps under that gown.
kill.me.now!
and yes, i have one of those teal jars with flowers on my teal farm table in my kitchen right now.
they just threw out lots of the jars and i was practically in tears wishing i had more space to take more than i did!
they served BBQ, so each plate had a little bib on it.
the bridal party had these…
i think i was the only plastic bib-wearer… pregnant ladies…
another truth:
i haven’t been to a wedding with this guy here since our own.
been to lots, shot a few, but never able to sit in a dress and love on this guy
in the most perfectly romantic setting and watch love from the beginning…
and thanks to some sweet cousins, we were kid free and really let loose.
lets just say, i think i danced that baby girl into a minor case of shaken baby syndrome.
truth: i believe in matching weddings.
it’s a sick habit i am not up to breaking.
and then this happened… multiple times.
honestly,
i haven’t been on a more fun and romantic date in a long time…
anyone want to let me crash their wedding.
please and thank you.
Looks like an awesome time!!! I love the bib idea.
