i just laugh when she does because i know that every few years we have to have an intervention and help clean our her sewing room abiss of fabric with a machine in there somewhere…
{in her defense, it is currently fully organized and has been for about 42 days.}

even recently, she has shown me all kinds of fabric and what she has done with it/plans to do with it. and naturally, she inspires me…

fabric choice is a regular topic around here.
and we talk a. lot.

yesterday some friends invited me to go to this 99 cent fabric store in solvang
{which is this cute little dutch touristy town just 30 minutes away}

for a dollar a yard, i couldn’t even help myself…

and i have plans for every one.

we shall see if they live lives as real garments
or end up in my mom’s wasteland of excess fabric…

happiness is a $12 bag full of projects.
