Hello there Big Red Clifford readers!

My name is Tiffany and I have had the pleasure of knowing Meg for a few years and we had our first little boys just a few months apart. It has been so fun to watch her cute family grow through her blog, and of course try her delish recipes. I can’t wait to see this beautiful new little girl!

I live in Arizona where I work as a wardrobe stylist and personal shopper. I help my clients create smashing outfits out of items they already have, let go of garments past their prime, fill in the holes with new pieces, and everything in between. I have been trained in closet editing, body type and coloring evaluation, trend forecasting, and I have my Cosmetologist license. When I’m not busy helping my clients feel beautiful or playing with my little boy, I share the latest trends and styling tips on my blog at Grown up Dress up

Today I thought it would be fun to share a few ways to freshen up your summer make-up routine. With the dog days of summer in full swing it is easy to let our make-up routines become lazy or nonexistent. The perfect line up of cosmetics for warmer temperatures includes something bright, fun, quick, and easy. The following products will help you achieve the perfect summer glow in minimal steps.

1. Skip the sunscreen by choosing a tinted moisturizer which includes SPF. This Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline blends perfectly into your complexion while providing your skin with the added moisture we all need for the warmer months.
2. Give your cheeks a splash of color, no blush brush necessary! Simply apply this creamy L’oreal Visible Lift Colour Lift Blush with your fingertips for an illuminating glow. Try Pink Lift if your skin has cool undertones and Coral Lift for you warm undertoned girls.
3. Don’t forget to finish your face with a light dusting of powder to prevent make-up meltdowns. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural provides a velvety finish without being cakey.
4. Ensure your eye make-up stays put from sunrise to long after sun down by applying MAC Prep+Prime before your shadow.
5. Sweep on a light dusting of Bare Escentuals Velvet Eyecolor from lid to brow. Try Velvet Cream if you have fair skin and Velvet Vanilla for you sun kissed girlies.
6. I have yet to find a liner I like better than Define-A-Line by Maybelline. The smooth texture helps it glide on easily. Apply to the top lashes only for a false lash look.
7. Don’t forget to switch to a waterproof mascara formula for summer months like Maybelline’s LashBlast Volume.
8. By keeping the rest of your routine simple, you are free to really play up your lips with a bright shade. After all, what says summer more than a popsicle stained pout?!
Try Nars’ Satin Lip Pencil in Bright Pink or Watermelon to finish off your look with a punch of color.
And lastly, a few bold lips to be inspired by:

Thanks for having me Meg! Good luck with your new little bundle!
