freakin taylor swift. love her, right?
Ok, as one who spent half of my college and teaching years discussing media and how it’s made/what it communicates/all that artsy jargon blah blah that makes me annoyed of all movies with Paul Walker in them,
let me just say, this is a great music video. Well made, and so freakin cute it hurts. Taylor Swift conquers all forms of dance here like a boss
and each one will make you smile and shake your head so you say, “Man, i freakin love that girl!”
On the one hand, you’ll want to hate Taylor for being so damn cute and stunning, and on the other, you are shouting right with her:
Yes!
“STOP taking yourself too seriously”
“STOP letting what you/they/everyone thinks control you!”
“STOP being afraid to be ugly/quirky/weird”
I woke up this morning excruciatingly early to pee and found over 100 things to stress me into staying awake {only one of which is my untrained-poop-on-the-carpet-4-year-old giving me gray hair}.
The rest are things that I probably shouldn’t stress about but do.
Yes, I have some anxiety, but some lots of that can be… shaken off. Maybe I need a tutu, a ribbon, and a sick beat,
but by all means, I’m gonna try.
and if you really want to smile… see the behind the scenes and outtakes from the ballet section. tears.
I love this song AND its message. My kids love it too. However, I am bummed that the video has so much half naked bootie shaken up close and personal in the camera. With 5 very impressionable kids in my house…this video gets no screen time around here.
Yes. I have to agree with you there. 🙁
