both cc and i are into the camera thing.
but we are literally into the camera.
when i realized we were giddily reading pages of specs on a new camera on a date night,
i realized we were not your average couple.

we spent sunday afternoon playing with lighting and jazz.
and it was dark before we realized we were still side-by-side editing the same fotos,
peering over to see what we had done.
nerds.

there are some who will tell you that the foto should look profesh coming out of the camera and shouldn’t need to be edited.
we are not those people.
and neither are most professional fotogs.

i say if you can frame it and edited it,
go for it.
i like this. taking photos and editing is so very fun. i don't think that editing, though, should take the place of trying to take good pictures, if you know what i mean. If photography is going to stay an ART there has to be some conscientiousness that goes along with it…

whoops sorry, soapbox.

i love reading your blog! i love your new haircut! yay!
totally agree. i do believe there is such a thing as over-editing too. oh, and thanks!
I love that second to last photo here (and in the previous post.) It's so YOU! I hope you're still loving your hair. It seems to suit you so well!
Your pictures are really cool, Meg! Also, I'm atracted to your stroller. Can you tell me what kind it is, since I will have to start looking into this type of stuff?
