i’ve been trying our some of these fun box subscriptions out there
since i am a bit addicted to mail…
so, orange glad sent me their october box of goodies to review,
…and i tell you what, it did not disappoint!
i was not sure what to expect, and i was thinking, “how can you really get something different than cookies or fudge every month?” sounds fun, but i was a hint skeptical…
i have to say, we were pretty happy with it. and i am way excited to give these as birthday gifts in the future. how fun to get a box of unique goodies that everyone can try and experience?
here’s what was in this one:
i loved that it was fall themed. it’s not just a box of goodies they’ve curated, it’s going to be relevant, so if you do give it as a gift, or subscribe for the family, it’s going to be things like this. a pumpkin cookie and box of teas since it’s fall…etc. this brownie, about killed me. i like me some dark chocolate, and this was made with wine flour and dark chocolate. it has more fiber than my whole grain bread! it was completely naughty. last night we tried out the honey and the marshmallows too. who woulda thought a marshmallow could taste so good? or that i would just eat one like that and not think it’s gross… i’m not really into marshmallows alone like i was as a kid… but this, i could really get into. i’ve seen recipes for homemade mallows in the pin world and this tastes how i imagine those would, only obviously by someone who really, really knows what they’re doing!!
the honey was so good- you forget how processed honey is until you have the unadulterated true kind again. two words: dee-vine.
and the cookie crunch. whatever. it took a minute to get used too cause it really tastes like a brownie, so you think, “this shouldn’t be so crunchy…” but after the newness wears, yumtown.
spoiler alert: my dad would {sing it} LOVE this! so doing this for his birthday next month… and maybe since he’s the only one left i know that really enjoys discovering new foods {that contain sugar that is…}
i don’t know that i could see myself getting the orange glad box monthly, seeing as i don’t need the sweets much these days… but i will most definitely ship them out as gifts. what a genius idea!
disclaimer: i was not compensated for this post. although i was provided a free box from orange glad, all opinions are my own.
