this year traditions are transient on all sides of christmas for our families.
we are getting older, more of us have kids,
and it means we have made some changes to keep it all rolling.
i love new traditions,
and since i became a clifford, this is been a fave.
just us girls go shopping with mom {and this year grandma too}
and she buys most of our christmas gifts.
{then promptly hides and wraps them.}
if we go over thanksgiving weekend,
we hardly remember what we picked out and we are completely surprised.
its awesome.
and such a fun time to shop with the girls.
{not pictured} is my favorite moffat tradition that i am so glad still lives…
caroling.
the moffats don’t just sing, we sang.
last night we had christmas eve with my family,
after our party, {the peeps that like to go singing} piled up in the car and went to see the few families that know to expect us every year.
we rock out a little, we cry a little, and when we get home, we all feel so happy.
we all came home and went straight to work cleaning up the party mess as we hummed and smiled. it was weird.
so i’m sorry about not sharing a tradition foto with you yesterday for foto friday,
but all of our good ones haven’t happened yet, and to be honest,
i have been so busy playing that i just haven’t been good at ensuring documentation.
