i may have found a new addiction {slash} remedy for my style funk i’ve been in for the past…..oh geez — too long.
it may or may not have something to do with my sewing machine.
but seeing as i can spend 4 dollars on a half-yard of fabric and turn it into something that is as fun to wear as “not-so” skinny jeans….. i’m in.
and now i am getting way too ambitious looking at my closet:
{“ooh, i could turn that into this… and add this to that…..” }
{“ooh, i could turn that into this… and add this to that…..” }
someone come stop me before i commit bedazzle suicide
and ruin a perfectly sane looking garment.
this “square t-shirt” i saw here inspired me.
my favorite t’s are ones that have this rounded cut on the bottom and more open neck/back, and if stacy and clinton were here, they would probably say those should be my fave too…
this was so super easy,
that i am going to have to make me lots of these.
maybe next time i will try the non-uber-strechy stuff. cause its tricky.
but the little old ladies at the fabric store just said to use a ball point needle, and mom said a zig-zag stitch and everything will be fine. point for mom. again.

1. take a “square” of fabric. sew down the side seams leaving arm-hole space
2. cut the neckline shape you want
3. turn under/hem the neck, sleeves, and bottom.
4. when your husband comes home for lunch,
go ahead and let him drool all over you for making a cute shirt during nap time.

seriously, few things make me happier….
{ok maybe this…}
You are adorable. And thanks for referencing Stacy and Clinton on a first name basis. Makes me happy.
