this guy is 30 today!

i hope it isn’t too anti-climatic
because cc isn’t really a party guy
but 30 is a big deal!
and because his friends and family are all in the AZ
its just us and hopefully
it is still a great day for him.
last night, we thought about how
crazy the 20s are-
going on missions, college, dating, starting jobs, buying houses and cars,
falling in love, getting married, getting pregnant…
i also thought of how lucky i am to live with
my best friend,
a techno nerd,
a cowboy,
a mama’s boy,
an entertainment enthusiast,
a big brother,
a supportive husband,
and a very excited dad.
i am pretty excited for the next 30 years!

Funny story Paul told me tonight: Paul was signing Chris's card at work and wrote something about turning 30 as a JOKE thinking he was totally overshooting his age. He asked him later how old he was and was shocked to find out he was exactly right! Ha ha! He does not look 30 at all. But just wait till the kids come around. That's when the bags under the eyes really start to show. 🙂
We love you Chris! Thanks for being born and loving Megan and being a wonderful part of our family. We hope the next 30 years are fabulous.
