i had some women to visit this week and thought i had better take them some chocolate,
or what’s the point of going!
it is, after all, christmas, is it not?
and i remembered i had this huge bag of wooden spoons that i like to bust out for parties and such…
{amazon. so cheap.}

AND, i found these fun little caramels and marshmallows
{which i am pretty excited to bake with this week…}
so i whipped up some stirrers and printables and i think they turned out pretty cute.

to make the stirrers: i used 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate {you could use milk chocolate}
and about 1 tsp of shortening, melted it in the microwave at 20 seconds at a time, then dipped em and laid em on foil to cool. before they were set, i dropped some candy canes, andes mints, marshmallow bits, and caramel bits {with sea salt}.
i put a strip of washi tape on the ends to dress em up too…
and ps, these circle labels are 2in circles and should fit most label brands if you wanted em on stickers.

one year growing up we had a neighbor give us something similar on mini wooden spoons.
like actual wooden spoons though, mini version of the big kind…
they were adorable, and after we used them, they were a kitchen utensil.
so that’s an idea too…
