the theme this week is ancient.
so B and I
{heavily medicated and both sniffling and sneezing}
saddled up and went down to Ocean Beach,
(which is downtown San Diego near Sea World… )
home of one of the best antique malls I’ve seen in a long time.
like 7 or so, really good antique stores,
with really, really great stuff.
old things are my favorite things.
especially furniture.
give me the old, rustic, battered,
colored stuff with lots of history and character.
and put a retro car on it.
heaven on a stick, i tell ya.
and though lots of the furniture was overpriced,
i was very inspired to get going on my growing list of furniture re-ups
and decided that if my home ends up looking like a bright antique shop,
i wouldn’t even complain.
