i grew up in a sunflower room,
i loved everything about them,
and i am a huge daddy’s girl
{if you haven’t noticed}
i remember one morning when my dad woke me up on a saturday
just to drive out into the desert a ways to see some wild flowers.
{not as common in the AZ you see….}
and they are yellow.
and we both loved yellow.
so i snapped some of these at the end of this shoot a few weeks ago
hoping to catch that very thing,
and they were my favorite ones of the bunch.
the more i look at this one,
the more it reminds me of my childhood, my old room,
and that cute old man living at my house that is turning 60 on monday…
