– technology. being able to ichat with moms to calm my sick and cranky child for a few minutes is priceless. and we may or may not have broken my strict “we are not watching tv until 2” rule this week for some comforting ellen. worth it.
– costco. sounds silly, but last night we had much needed early date night, which was a quick trip out to costco for warmer jammies, a $10 pizza to last 3 days, and a nice cold swig. chello!
– a smart baby. this week he learned to climb up on things, officially crawl, and hold a bottle. all while sick. this morning was the first time finding him standing in his crib. oh great…
– the best roommate & boyfriend i have ever had.
– moms. mine offered to drive here last night to feed me and take my baby so i could rest. i cried thinking of how much i wish i could be close to my mom.
– sundays. i look forward to em every week. the one day i get to see a bunch of people that make me smile, put on a killer outfit with heels, and be uplifted.
– friends. i have met a few new ones this week and that makes me happy. my friends mean the world to me. old or new.
– photos. i have been editing this family’s fotos this week. and remembering how much fun they are and what a blessing to be able to do what i love all of the time
– rain. its about to up in here and its my favorite season of all.
– music. thus the foto. we are a music family. always listening or creating music. if B were to leave us today, that would be the one thing he would know about us, that his parents love music and want him to as well. {currently rockin to adele this morning}
– an excuse to slow down. i would never wish for a sick dude, but its been nice to have each other’s undivided attention. he screams more, cries more, hates life more, but he also cuddles more, smiles more, and appreciates me.
