The Nordstrom Anniversary SALE is going to be huge this year. These are my favorite picks that I would totally buy
{a.k.a. they are not crazy expensive and totally in your budget to grab one or two- win!}
I have been converted to a NORDSTROM shopper. The biggest reason is mainly because everything I purchase there lasts so much longer. I can usually find classic, yet fresh, styles and I am a huge believer in you get what you pay for. I’m the kind who will buy a used car because it makes more sense financially, but it will be “gently” used because I’d rather not be spending time and money to keep it running!
When I shop at cheaper stores, I just understand that those items will last as long as the trend, and then I can get rid of them. NORDSTROM has been slowly filling my closet with basics and staples to beef up my wardrobe and style and they stay there for years! And I used to avoid the place because I thought they were too expensive, but the truth is, it isn’t hard to find the well-priced stuff in there, it’s how smart NORDSTROM is, they appeal to a larger audience because they cover the gamut on price range.
Even if you don’t have a Nordstrom card, you can get in on the NORDSTROM Anniversary SALE going down. Card holders get an early bird discount, but it is open to all on the 17th. These are my favorite finds that are on my wish list this year! If I could, I’d grab them all, but these sale prices are stellar!
This leather jacket has me downright giddy for fall, and these boyfriend jeans?? And I want to grab like 10 of those balance necklaces for all my mom friends. The perfect price right now. Christmas shopping? On it. Basically I have been looking for pieces to extend my wardrobe. These are more classic, yet on trend and chic pieces that will last quite a while and live a great life in a closet like mine.
Enjoy!
Let’s just say I’m a frequent shopper, and I have a personal shopper which makes that easier, so I already did all my sale shopping last week with early access. I bought a pant similar to the green pants you have above, though in grey (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/treasurebond-ankle-skinny-jeans-jet-grey-worn/3946178?cm_em=&cm_mmc=email_tran-_-071115-_-fls_ereceipt-_-prodname20), and I got that thermal henley in a different color. I tried on the long sweater you listed, but it was too bulky for me, I opted for a different one that fit better (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/sun-shadow-jacquard-shawl-collar-cardigan-juniors/3932144?cm_em=&cm_mmc=email_tran-_-071115-_-fls_ereceipt-_-prodname6). I would STRONGLY recommend the following jeans – they are to die for: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/rag-bone-jean-the-dre-slim-fit-boyfriend-jeans-watts-nordstrom-exclusive/4010773?cm_em=&cm_mmc=email_tran-_-071215-_-dtc_ship_confirm-_-proddescr1 and this necklace is a great companion to the one above (when wearing small necklaces, I tend to wear two at a time) http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/dogeared-karma-circle-pendant-necklace-nordstrom-exclusive/4026728?cm_em=&cm_mmc=email_tran-_-071115-_-fls_ereceipt-_-prodname19. I bought a whole bunch more too, but I was raised a Nordstrom girl. Pretty much everything I own comes from there (thanks to sales and triple or 10x points days) and my clothes last FOREVER.
That’s awesome! And thanks for those links. I wouldn’t have pegged you as the type to have a personal shopper! My aunt has one and loves it. I may have to try that out… 😉
You totally should. There is no charge, and once they get to know you – awesome suggestions and things they find on the floor that you’d never find yourself. Mine is totally honest too. Sometimes I think something might be cute, but she’s like – “I’m not loving that.” And I know, nope, not a good thing. =)
