dear baby,
this week you are working on some pretty important things.
namely, what you can hear, see, and smell, taste, and touch.
[not to mention we get to see you on thursday!!]
we have been trying to make the ones we have some control over a bit more enjoyable.
that’s why cc and i sing.
nope- we would do that anyway, but its good to know its what we do,
even if in 20 years you don’t believe we had any fun without you.
we have been learning a few new good ones and having some good times.
your first concert had to be a good one.
see, music is kind of a thing in this family.
i bet you will play the guitar like dad too.
well, you at least have all the genes needed to sing.

we were so close, we could see everything!
it was cc’s first time seeing him in concert
and he deemed it his favorite shortly after.

maybe when you get a bit older, we can take you to another one.
maybe one when i am not carrying a child and standing for 4 hours.
i could do without the cankles.
