here is the update from the 15 week mark:
and in honor of still not knowing what kind of apple is in there,
we bought some pink ladies
and met with one of my midwives.
i already love this place.
they were even nice to me and told me that
“my weight should even out in the next month”
and now that i have energy to go walking and do my yoga,
lets hope so.
i didn’t realize how much energy i was lacking or how crappy i felt until this week.
i am feeling worlds better these days – i am sure it is largely in my head,
but it is a lot easier to get up and go now and eat like a normal human.
she did a quick ultrasound (audio only) and we heard the heartbeat.
just one, thank all saints in heaven.
cc was cute and recorded it so he could listen to it all afternoon.
weird how that 30 seconds makes it all feel real now.
we went to the store afterward and he was quick to get all of the healthy things
[not at all like previous shopping adventures!]
he kept stopping to stare at me like he was just noticing me
and when i caught him, he smiled like a schoolboy and touched my barely protruding belly.
i think that 30 seconds is for the dads.
she told me we would hear from the obstetrics office that would do the intense ultrasound
and that it should be within the next two weeks.
sadly, they called and said it has to be on the 20th week… so October 14th it is.
maybe on that day baby will graduate from an “it” to a bonified human!
so we can see our little apple on the big screen soon!!
You look FABULOUS!! I keep seeing you talk about a midwife, so I have to ask… homebirth, midwifery, what is your plan??
Super Super cute pics. and isn't it amazing how the clouds kind of lift and you feel better? i have so much more energy now than i did 5-6 weeks ago, Cheers to that!
You look beautiful!. All grown up and having a sweet lil baby! I loved "hearing" the heartbeat with you and cheering you on from home. You two will be awesome parents. Kind of fun to be all love-y and gushy about this new life huh?
you are too cute! love reading all of your updates so i can pretend like i'm there!
I love this fruit thing. I so look forward to reading what vegetation your baby is next. And I love to see the pics against the wall–fun to "see" the baby's growth each week. October 14th (sigh!) I can hold off, I guess! Can't wait! Love ya!
Too cute my dear! 🙂 I wish you a very happy ultrasound of one! 🙂 🙂 What an exciting time for you and your hubby …. and JR. 🙂 Feeling life inside of you is remarkable!! What a miracle Best wishes for a healthy journey. 🙂
