my little girl turned two.
and since she didn’t have a clue, we did what we wanted, but we were sure to include a few things she definitely loves so she was sure to have fun.
basically she loves balloons, the park, naming colors, and eating cold things.
i grabbed some paint and little birdhouses for $1 at Michaels and the kids had some fun painting.
i wanted to do some “dart art” that reese could have up in her room so we threw darts at balloons and they splattered {sort of} on canvas. truth is, they needed either a lot more paint, or thinner cause it didn’t work as well as hoped!
so this is extremely LOW-KEY for a meg party. partly because i didn’t want to stress out over a 2 year old’s party, and partly because i don’t have my own space to throw a cute party yet… there are only so many things you can do at the park!
i was pretty happy with the invite and the banner though, cause those things are oddly important to me. the popsicle banner is now up in my house for summer cause it makes me smile.

Ok now this is cutest idea for a birthday party! I love balloons and eating cold things also. I love the artsy fartsy crafts in the park!
I love that banner and those popsicles!!
Thanks so much!! 😉 We had lots of fun.
Ooh thanks! I tried to be cool like you and make popsicles, but I failed miserably and didn’t get a photo of the one that turned out great! Whoops! 😉
