i am so excited to brag about this cool new site.
{starting with the freakin cute logo, no?}
i have to say, since my shop has been live,
the best thing for it has been online boutique sites just like this one.
{my shop will be featured on her site later in the month!}
is a site with daily deals on all kinds of great stuff.
the deals last 3 days and there is a new one starting every day,
{starting on Monday!}
and my favorite part:
proceeds go to help raise money for fertility treatments!
i was so inspired by andra and her story,
that i made her tell me the whole thing.
i will give you the reader’s digest version:
andra + husband tried for years to get pregnant
after they were married in their late 20s.
they tried everything.
then after more years of trying the less expensive routes, went to IVF.
which was unsuccessful.
the 2nd attempt was successful and led to a baby girl!
to raise money for another one,
andra began hosting boutiques in model homes with 45-70 venders
and was able to raise money to try IVF again {go-getter, right?!}
after a few hiccups, another girl was born!
now in hopes of adding a little boy to the family,
and after another failed {and extremely expensive} round of IVF,
she decided she had to do something to raise money.
“I decided I needed to be proactive! I wasn’t getting any younger, so If I was going to save up another $15,000, I needed to get back to work and soon! I was trying to think of how I could take my cute little traveling boutique business I had built up for the past 5 years and take it to the next level. That’s when Rubee Lane was born 🙂
Starting June 4th (next Monday!!!!) I’m going to offer a daily boutique deal that shoppers nation-wide can buy! I have some AMAZING deals to share with those that would like to be a part of the journey. A portion of each sale will go towards my fertility treatments. Thank you all for your support.
