i have been waiting for this one for months!

this week’s theme was doors.

from the first weekend we drove into san diego,

when we drove straight to the beach,

we drove the same little drive i have driven for years.

summer after summer we visited this very spot,

but it was like i was seeing it for the first time.

i just realized a week ago or so that some of the many “door”
pictures i had taken in the first few years i owned my DSLR were here, in del mar.

many were in DC and other places, but lots of places here I recognize
because i randomly snapped a foto of the cool store fronts and doors.

{maybe i will scrounge up all my old door fotos and share those too,

cause i definitely went through a phase…}

this is a house front on the way to the beach.

its perfect.

and you couldn’t miss it if you tried…

so i grabbed my good friend miki,

who is vintagy, beachy, and oh so stylin.

the perfect pair.

plus some of my best headshots were taken in front of doors…
