Summer is finally in full swing and Summer Styles are out! I am here to help you navigate what to add to your wardrobe so you are stylish all summer long! I love helping my personal styling clients transition from spring to summer! Staying stylish when it’s so hot outside can be troublesome and I’m here to give show you what to add for your casual summer style.
Boyfriend Shorts & Rompers are so HOT right now! Every store I shop in is filled with them & any place I go women are wearing them. I love the boyfriend short because they are comfortable and can be styled for a day in the sun or an evening with the girls. For a day in the sun, I pair them with sandals and a graphic tee (we’ll chat about these below) and for a fun night out I pair them with wedges and a cute blouse. Boyfriend shorts are very versatile and definitely need to be in your summer style arsenal.
Rompers are effortless and an easy way to be current and chic! Make them casual when paired with flats or sandals and a crossbody bag.
Maxi Skirts & Graphic Tee’s are a must for any casual summer style wardrobe. One of my greatest style obsessions is the maxi skirt! This is perfect for my busy life as a mom. I can run after my toddler, bend down and pick her up all while staying stylish and modest. Pairing it with a graphic tee makes the maxi skirt the perfect daytime outfit for my summer days. When you are out shopping for a maxi skirt pick a fabric that is light weight and breathable. Graphic tees are fun additions to your summer style wardrobe. They help us express a little bit of who we are and we can share this little piece of us with the world.
Wow! Birkenstocks are back in a big way! I see them everywhere and I instantly remembered how comfortable they are. This Germany made sandal is crafted with love and care for your feet. The firm base creates solid support and contours to your foot, making them super comfy for long summer days. I’m glad they’ve made a comeback and are in my summer style arsenal!
This year my main advice for you on Summer Style is keep your style simple and make sure it works for you. I want you to walk out of your door everyday feeling stylish, confident and current. For your casual summer style remember these five key pieces:
