Easy Cake Mix Cookies

A super fun and easy recipe using a cake mix that you can alter for any mix. These strawberry ones were awesome! cake-mix-cookies-recipe-_-so-easy-and-fun!

When my mom was in town, she asked Boss what he wanted to do and like he does a lot at our house, he whined to “make a treat” which is basically, my mom’s love language.

So, we looked in the pantry and found the cake mix, though he was whining for cookies, “NOT cupcakes!” he whined… mom and I looked at each other and without saying anything, nodded the “yeah, we got this” and did what we two do in the kitchen. {bump butts and communicate without words and make crap happen}.

I have been making cake mix cookies for a while cause the kids love them, they have 4 ingredients or less, and usually are a fun color and have fun flavors…

cake mix cookies recipe - so easy and yummy!

We went with strawberry and added cute sprinkles for fun this time. Done. So cute and tasty, and would be perfect for a shower or party cause they whip up fast and they are super soft!

Mix all ingredients in a mixer, slowly adding the flour at the end. Dough should begin to thicken, but be soft like sugar cookie dough. Your recipe may need 3/4 cup flour as all cake mixes are slightly different.

Scoop into 1 inch circles and drop on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 for about 9 minutes or until the edges begin to turn golden. Pull immediately and leave on the cookie sheet for about 1 minute to cool before removing to the counter or cooling rack.
